2005 Tamber Bay Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon

This exquisite Oakville Cabernet is dark ruby in color with a concentrated nose of plums, violets, cedar shavings and earth. Complex and compelling with raspberry jam, cocoa and spice followed by a layered mid palate of dark cherries, black currants and licorice. The long full-bodied finish offers red fruits, vanilla and integrated smooth tannins. Harmoniously balanced, this wine drinks well now but those with patience will be greatly rewarded.
