We are excited about the release of our new 2013 Carneros Chardonnay. It is the first that we have added a small amount of fruit sourced from the Truchard vineyard in Carneros to go along with our Sangiacomo fruit from the Home and Green Acres blocks.
Like in past years we pick the fruit when we feel it is at its peak of ripeness and ready to give all of the apple, pear and tropical flavors that we like in our wine. The Chardonnay is barrel fermented and left on the lees until we get ready to bottle. Cheers and enjoy.
